High Production Values Still Exist

I had a couple of opportunities to work for Coral Ridge Ministries lately. I have to say it was a real pleasure to feel like I was working with people who knew what the word "excellence" means.
It seems like it's been a long time since I've done work for anyone who really cared about producing high quality work. Much of what I've done the last few years is focused on simply capturing what's going on and getting in front of an audience as quickly as possible. I don't mind putting out the best I can under whatever conditions I am placed in, however there are certain things that are necessary to go the the level of "high production values."

1. Carefully controlled lighting.
2. Carefully controlled sound recording.
3. High definition, in focus, color balanced, steady video.
4. Great locations.
5. Appealing talent
6. Great graphics
7.Interesting content

Yes, I believe that content is the most important thing and can trump everything else. However, the better the other things are, the better the content can be communicated.
